In this course, you will learn about the different stages of athlete development and how a support team can be integrated according to every need. Your coach does not have to wear all the hats, neither do the parents. After taking this course, you will leave equipped with tangible tools according to the athlete's needs at the Learn to Train and Train to Train level of Canadian equestrian journeys.

This course will take you about 45 minutes to complete and you will learn how to:

  1. Identify the different stages of the long term equestrian development (LTED)
  2. Understand the impact of integrated support teams (IST)
  3. Communicate clear milestones and expectations
  4. Use practical tools to guide decision making
